Services Manager
We have a great opportunity for a Services Manager to join our growing Building Services Team. Operating across commercial, education, health & hospitality, we are on a mission to build a better way. As a Services Manager you will be responsible for managing services end to end on our Projects, including ECIs and Tenders.
Role & responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Services Manager to join our team who will take the lead role on managing all service activities on the project, including:
- Manage design for the Building Services packages across the project - Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic
- Oversee coordination, installation and commissioning of building services
- Programming, scheduling & subcontractor management
- Procurement & value engineering
- Manage the building services delivery process
- Mentor and coach a young and energetic team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management etc.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor, or Tier 1 subcontractor
- Proven experience managing complex building services packages on commercial construction projects valued $50M+
- Experience with the installation, maintenance and testing of essential Building services - Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic
- Sound understanding and application of statutory legislation including knowledge of the OHS Act, Building Code of Australia and the relevant services Australian Standards.
- Strong communication & leadership skills, you will be managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
